Anne Mieke Eggenkamp (1961)
Anne Mieke Eggenkamp (1961, Groenlo) has been working at the Design Academy Eindhoven (DAE) since 2002. She started out as a tutor and coordinator of the 'Man and Leisure' department, and has been the former director of Educational Affairs at the DAE since 2006. In 2008, Eggenkamp became chairman of the Executive Board of the DAE.
Before joining the DAE, Anne Mieke Eggenkamp taught at various Dutch art academies, was involved in the design of magazines, books, websites, illustrations and in corporate identity projects. From 1997 to 2000 she founded bambooyellow® a company for interactive communication strategies. From 2000 to 2001 Eggenkamp worked for Razorfish BV in Amsterdam as a creative leader. She is the founder of EGG (since 1989), a design and communication agency. Since 2011, Eggenkamp has been a member of the Top Team Creative Industry, founder and catalyst of the Human Capital Agenda, and a member of the Dutch Creative Council, an independent strategic advisory council for and by the creative industries.
