Arun BOSE (Dacca 1934 - New York 2007)
Arun Bose studied at the Art College in Calcutta in India in the 1950's. Was a member of the Calcutta Group which is considered the most important group for the introduction of Modern Art in free India.
In 1962 he left for France where he received a scholarship to the Ecole Nationale Superieur des Beaux Arts, which was followed by a scholarship from the Rockefeller fellowship in New York, where he has lived and worked since 1970.
