Guus SUNDERMEIJER-RINCKER (Haarlem 1923)
Geertruida Augusta (Guus) Sundermeijer - Rincker is a Dutch painter and textile artist. Her painting style can be characterized as modern-figurative.
She received her education at the Royal Academy of Art, where she was taught by Rein Draijer and Willem Jacob Rozendaal. During her life she has lived and worked in Geertruidenberg, Haarlem, Heemstede, Nunspeet, Opende and Oldeholtpade. She was a member of the Sint Lucas Artists' Association, the Nunspeter Schilderskring, De Kern (Apeldoorn), and the Noordveluwse Schilders' circle. Sundermeijer has participated in group exhibitions at the Sint Lucas Association and with the Nunspeter Schilderskring in Zwaluwenburg Castle, and she has also held various solo or duo exhibitions. She is one of the founders of the Vrije Academie Nunspeet together with co-founders such as Chris ten Bruggen Kate, Jaap Hiddink, Jos Lussenburg.
