Hans Innemee (1951)

Painter, Graphic artist

Hans INNEMEE

Painter, graphic artist, draftsman.

Hans Peeters (Innemée is his mother's surname) was born in 1951 in Heerlen.

Education:

Innemée went to the Academy of Visual Arts in Tilburg from 1969, which he left prematurely in 1973.

Innemée's work can be recognized by the chicken, which has been the 'main figure' in his work for some time now and through which the artist communicates his message to the viewer. His work has a light humor and is endearing. Innemée uses a technique that he has developed himself. He makes drawings on tissue paper, which he sticks on handmade Thai paper and then on wooden panels; finally he colors the whole with oil pastels.

Exhibitions and prizes:

Innemée's work has been exhibited in the Netherlands, France and Japan, among others.
