Jacques Wesselius (1931-2012)

Jacques Wesselius (1931-2012)

Artist

Jacques Wesselius (1931-2012) Jacques devoted himself entirely to painting with subjects such as landscape, flowers, harbours, sports and cityscapes. It was not his concern to represent the observable reality, but to transform it and paint it in such a way that a reality is created of its own painterly quality. He has exhibited many times in the Netherlands and abroad, including annually in the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, as a member of the Sint Lucas artists' association.
