Glass artist and designer Josja Caecilia Schepman did an internship at the glass studio de Oude Horn of Bernard Heesen during her study Free Design at the HKU. After her studies she continued to learn from him. Schepman eventually became an independent glass blower in the service of the National Glass Museum in Leerdam and the Van Tetterode glass studio in Amsterdam. Her style has been described as imaginative, naive and varied.
