Figurative, abstract, dramatic or analytical: the work of Kathalijne Hes is very diverse. Despite this diversity, her almost physical style is always recognizable. Her oeuvre now consists of hundreds of works.
Kathalijne Hes is inspired by decay; ancient walls, frescoes, rusty steel, peeling doors, rock walls, rocks, landscapes and nature.
