Mathilda Jurrissen (1927-1983)
MATHILDA (?Tilly?) EVA JURRISSEN, born 17-12-1927 in Oakland (Californi_, USA) and died 11-6-1983 in Amersfoort, watercolorist, painter, draftsman, pen artist, photographer. Education: Institute for Applied Arts Education (Amsterdam). Mathilda Jurrissen lived and worked in Amsterdam and from 1956 in Amersfoort. She received several prizes: from the Association for Advertising for the design of the photo booklet Stichting Utrecht; photo prize New York 1964; drawing competition "Arts and Sports"; prize gouache 1967 Amersfoort. She was a member of the Amersfoorts Kunstgenootschap De Ploegh.
