Peter EIGHTENRIBBE (Groningen, 1942)
Peter Achttienribbe (Groningen 1942) graduated from the Minerva Academy in 1966 with a specialization in graphics. In May of that year his name was already mentioned on the list of members of the Groninger Kunstkring De Ploeg. However, he decided to leave Groningen for a short time to study at the Academy of Visual Arts in Warsaw. When he returned, he joined the Group Nu, founded in 1959, an innovative Groningen artists' association that would organize exhibitions for its members until 1977. In 1967 he exhibited at Pictura in this regard. In the same year, Achttienribbe was also given the opportunity to show his work in the provincial house in Groningen. He was also an exhibitor at the major anniversary exhibition Half a century of De Ploeg in the Groninger Museum.
