Ravage (1991)

havoc

Designer,Fashion

Founded in Paris, France by Arnold van Geuns (1949) and Clemens Rameckers (1949)

After their studies at the Academy of the Arts in Arnhem, the Dutch Designer duo Arnold van Geuns and Clemens Rameckers started designing couture collections and striking clothing lines for companies in the 1980s. They merged their surnames into the brand name 'Ravage' (Clemens RAmeckers and Arnold VAN Geuns). His works are mainly in the designer cities of Paris and New York.

Under the Ravage signature, an enormous stream of furniture, carpets, curtain fabrics, table linen, painted crockery, glassware and Swatch watches appeared in the 1980s and 1990s.

Ravage works together as artists, designers and trend forecasters. Their works have a luxurious appearance: richly decorated with classical ornaments, lush curls, flowers, stripes, checks or embroidery.
