Roger COOLS (Hamme 1919 - Ostend 2011)
Studied at the Higher Institute Sint-Lukas in Ghent and at the Higher Institute for Fine Arts in Antwerp. He was Laureate of "Still lifes, Marines, Figures". Roger Cools taught at the Academy in Hamme and Ostend. He was also a teacher of plastic arts at the Hogeschool Gent.
Cools painted landscapes, harbor and especially seascapes.
