Theresia van der PANT (Schiedam 1924 - Amsterdam 2013)
Dutch sculptor and draftsman.
Life and work: Van der Pant attended the National School for Drawing Teachers from 1945 to 1946 and studied from 1946 to 1950 with Piet Esser, among others, at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten, both in Amsterdam.
From 1950 to 1951, she continued her education with Oscar Jespers, among others, at the Ecole Nationale Superior des Arts Visuals (ENSAV), formerly the Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Architecture et des Arts Decoratifs (ENSAAD - la Cambre) in Brussels. In 1953 she won the second prize of the Prix de Rome for sculpture and in 1955 she took part in the Sommerakademie with Giacomo Manz
