At the age of 34, Poretskov graduated from the Art Academy. Poretskov is a full-fledged painter in 1992. He usually paints on commission and prefers historical themes and subjects. Poretskov is a realist but occasionally he also paints in a surrealistic style. His works are smooth and flat in structure, glazed. The way of painting changes depending on the assignment. Poretskov lives a closed life, he does not participate in exhibitions, and perhaps that is why he is very popular.
