Walter Dorwin TEAGUE (1883 - 1960)
Walter Dorwin Teague was an important industrial designer in America. From 1912 he had his own studio for graphic design, among other things, and in 1926 he founded one of the first consultancies for industrial design. Teague used new materials and techniques and rejected expressionism. According to him, every object has a perfect shape and it is up to the designer to discover this shape. Teague was fascinated by technology and the future and designed a camera especially for women.
