Yvonne Visser (1954)
Visual artist Visser, who is based in Nijlande in Drenthe, received her training in handicrafts at the City Academy for Visual Arts in Maastricht. She then studied at the Minerva Academy in Groningen (ceramics and painting), where she graduated in 1985 in 'Free Painting'. After her training she initially made watercolors, then ceramics and then bronze sculptures. Her work is characterized by the use of animals, which show people's emotions.
