Cornelis ( Cees) Tromp (Heerhugowaard 1899-1929 The Hague) was a Dutch painter, who initially focused mainly on decorative painting. In the course of the twenties he developed into a painter. His still lifes from that period in particular attract attention, as do his graphic work. In many cases, clear influences from the new professionalism can be discovered, a movement that was gaining momentum at the time.
