De Nieuwe Honsel (then called De Honsel) was founded in 1919 by Hendrik Cornelis Herens. The workshop produced stained glass and stained glass windows. Initially, decorations were mainly true to nature, these later changed to a more expressionistic Amsterdam School style. The studio closed in 1929.
