Edmond WINGEN (Maastricht 1906 - The Hague 1970)
Son of painter Jan Wingen (1874-1956). Student at the Akademie v. BK in Den Bosch, Antwerp and Dusseldorf and at the Applied Arts School in Maastricht. Edmond Wingen obtained travel grants for France and Denmark. He painted mainly portraits, still lifes, figures and landscapes. E. Wingen also made ceramic pottery paintings, vases, plates and tiles and molded small plastics. He taught at schools in The Hague and Delft. Works in the possession of the Hague Municipal Museum
