Emmy van VRIJBERGHE DE CONINGH (Amsterdam 1947 - Zandvoort 1992)
Zandvoort village views, architectural studies, publications, regional costumes, posters, boats and free work. After the teacher training at the Rietveld Academy and the architecture study at the HTS, Emmy took over the artistic direction of the Cultural Center Zandvoort? the current Zandvoorts Museum? in itself. In the more than 15 years in which she worked for the cultural institution, she designed posters, drew boat boats, ties, buttons, Surinamese headscarves, bathing suits and Dutch regional costumes. Van Vrijberghe de Coningh also collected costumes and had a passion for photography. Her creativity was also beautifully expressed in her many, often very personal, free creations.
