Geir Nustad is a Norwegian designer and artist based in Amsterdam. When he moved to Kosta in Sweden in 2006, where he started his training as a glassblower. After completing this training, he continued at the glass department of the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. Known from Nustad is his combination of the old Swedish Grail technique in which layers of glass are superimposed with photography to arrive at a narrative work. He is also active at Glasblazerij Leerdam. Nustad further expresses his creativity by drawing, painting, sculpting and making installations.
