Guido SPRENKELS (The Hague 1959)
Guido Sprenkels is a sculptor and lives in Voorburg. After graduating from secondary school, he first studied sculpture for three years at the Academy of Visual Arts in Rotterdam. Then followed several years of many crafts.
In 2000 he was awarded the Albert Termote Prize. Shortly afterwards he made the larger-than-life sculpture 'De Vrijwilliger' for theater De Tobbe in Voorburg, and many large and small commissions followed since then. His work can be seen in galleries and in public spaces. Apart from the Netherlands, my work has been sold to collectors in Canada, Australia and the US.
