Koo Stroo (1920 - 2011) Internationally active abstract painter. Pupil of Piet van Wijngaerdt. Stayed from 1956 to 1966 in Rome. Exhibited there regularly at the renowned Galeria George Lester. Later also stayed in France for a long time. At the beginning of the last decade, he had exhibitions at Studio van Dusseldorp in Tilburg and at Lambert Tegenbosch in Heusden.
