Ton ALBERS (Amsterdam 1923)
He makes watercolors, drawings and lithographs with a range of subjects from flower still lifes, cityscapes, ballet scenes, portraits and landscapes. They are beautiful examples of Dutch impressionism, related to the Hague School. Albers is inspired by Jacob Maris, Hendrik Weissenbruch and Kees Verwey, among others. Ton Albers exhibited in the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and the Singer in Laren, among others.
