Society Architectura et Amicitia

Genootschap Architectura et Amicitia, also known as 'A et A', is a Dutch architecture society. The society is based in Amsterdam. The aim of the society is to bring together architects and people from related fields, to keep each other informed and to inspire each other through excursions, lectures and exhibitions. In addition, Architectura et Amicitia offered an alternative to the old-fashioned Society for the Promotion of Architecture. The society is also socially active, for example it was involved in good and cheap labor housing and it was involved in the establishment of the first Amsterdam craft school.
