Founded in 1927 - dissolved in 2004
In the 18th century, various gentlemen's societies were already present in The Hague. The first women's society was founded in 1921. Eventually a group of painters split off, and ODIS was formed. Odis was a Dutch artists' collective in The Hague, which only women could join. The objectives within Odis were the practice of the visual arts and crafts, holding exhibitions and art raffles.
