Royal Designers for Industry

The Royal Designers for Industry title is awarded annually by the RSA to outstanding designers from all disciplines. This title is for English designers, foreign designers can obtain the Hon RDI title. The group 'Royal Designers' are responsible for designing the world around us. In addition, the title was created to promote the important contribution of design to the industry. At the time of its introduction, design was undervalued and misunderstood.
