This heavy glass ashtray is made using the Sommerso technique, with a green core encased in clear glass with amber accents. The shape and finish are typical of Murano glass from the 1960s and 1970s, particularly in the Mandruzzato style.
The ashtray has one tiny chip on the top edge and two very small spots on two side corners (see photos). There are also some scratches and a scuff mark, consistent with its age.
