Dit olieverf schilderij van een schuchter waterhoentje is weliswaar klein, maar is toch een echte blikvanger. Het is geschilderd op linnen dat is verlijmd op mdf. Het schilderij is linksonder gesigneerd en gedateerd, 1963. Het formaat van het schilderij is 29,5 x 24,5 cm en het is recent schoongemaakt en opnieuw gevernist. Het schilderij is ingelijst in een goudkleurige alu-lijst.
Dit werk komt rechtstreeks uit de nalatenschap van de in 2011 overleden kunstenaar.
Het schilderij kan zonder verdere kosten worden afgehaald, dan wel aangetekend worden verzonden (Nederland € 11; België € 16).
