Anne Huitema (1941), opleiding Minerva Acad. Groningen. Past in het brede spectrum van kunstenaars uit de post-Cobra periode. In 1968 vond hij aansluiting bij o.a. Anton Rinzema en Sies Bleeker. Had echte liefde voor het grafisch ambacht en experimenteerde er ook mee. Hij ontwikkelde zich tot een van de origineelste grafici van zijn generatie. Vond z'n inspiratie vaak in de architectuur en werkte in okerbruine en blauwgrijze tinten, waar dit prachtige grafiek een uitgesproken voorbeeld van is.
