Text in the work : Anton Heyboer, January 13, 1984, Den Ilp Primordial life in contact with stars, sun and cosmos, was the cause of an art that paved an international way like Anton Heyboer. In the development of time in a country like the Netherlands, reality indicates that the heavens are being built up. The original art form, to remain realistic, must be transformed (?) into a brilliant invention to continue to reach the cosmic feeding zone. Four women as a unit is male genius. The giving of the soul divided exactly into four is multiplied schizophrenia. Schizophrenia here as a pure possibility without invoking the soul as anima for its discharge. Controlling the doubled animus as a man (?) and discharging it outside the self, exclusively in the woman, creates four women and one man in unity. The same unity that Muhammad imposed his monogamous principle as a law upon humanity 500 years after Christ, a principle under which humanity still suffers today. A man and a woman cannot develop in …….(?) love, making every bond between a man and a woman temporary. Only the connection in God made this eternal in the past. Now, a man and a woman are each other's sparring partners on the path to discovering love. In this, each surpasses the other, and all construction was for nothing. Life as a construct has become meaningless; it has degenerated into the toil of the illiterate. The expertise of living, formerly determined by Christ, has become wild and overgrown.”
Anton Heyboer (Sabang (former Dutch East Indies), 9 February 1924 – Den Ilp (North Holland), 9 April 2005) was a Dutch painter and etcher. Anton Heyboer (1924-2005) was born in Sabang, on the Indonesian island of Pulau Weh. Five months after his birth, his family moved to Haarlem. Later, they moved to Delft, Voorburg, Curaçao, New York, and back to Haarlem. He lived with four women in a commune in Den Ilp (Landsmeer). Anton Heyboer's work is inextricably linked to his way of life. He applied the insights of his artistry to his life, and conversely, he depicted his life in his work.
