Achttiende eeuwse met de hand ingekleurde (kinderarbeid) optica van de Augsburger graveur Balthasar Friedrich Leizel(t) naar een tekening van de Utrechtse Jacobbus Versteegh voorstellende een gezicht op de Gilbrug in de Utrechtse Biltstraat. Afmetingen prent 40 x 30,5 cm en lijst 48 x 61,5 cm. Augsburg behoorde met Londen en Parijs tot de belangrijkste grafische centra van Europa. Versteegh (gestorven 1n 1816 te Jutphaas) maakte verder nog drie afbeeldingen in groot formaat van Utrechtse stadsgezichten, waaronder de Maliebaan.
De lijst is negentiende eeuws, bloemenmahonie fineer, en in perfecte staat. De prent is naar museale maatstaven ingelijst. Documentatie wordt meegeleverd.
