De kunstklokken van Bert
Maurits, zijn een nieuw kunstproject van de in Haarlem wonende en werkende
kunstschilder. Van oude Lp's, maakt hij handgemaakte ArtClocks. Maurits maakt,
net als bij zijn gewone schilderijen, gebruik van diverse technieken.
Hij voegt een geretoucheerde & bewerkte foto
toe aan een met acrylverf beschilderde LP, waar hij vervolgens een uurwerk aan
toevoegt.
Het is Pop Art avant la lettre met een functie.
Vaak werkt hij in serie maar elke ArtClock is handgemaakt en dus uniek. De klokken,
150,- euro per stuk, collage op vinyl, afmeting diameter 30 cm, zijn allen
gesigneerd en worden geleverd in een passende pizzadoos.
