les gehad van Frans Helfferich.
Veel Buitenlandse reizen gemaakt, schilderde alle onderwerpen.
Kreeg de gouden medaille Colmar.
Was lid van de Pulchri Studio te Den Haag en van de Haagse Kunstkring.
Hij behoorde tot de Haagse Aquarellisten en was lid van de Nederlandse vereniging voor Zeeschilders
Werk hangt in diverse Haagse Musea en in Rijkscollectie.
