Prachtig werk van Charles Donker uit 1977. Ets op papier, met potlood gesigneerd rechtsonder, waarschijnlijk de eerste proefdruk. In de plaat de tekst: “1 juni overal jonge spreeuwen het is heet onweer drijgt // aanhef tuinfluiter lijkt op gekr. rood staart”. In zeer goede conditie; blad heeft ingelijst gezeten en er is een heel lichte verkleuring van een vorig passe-partout. Opnieuw ingelijst met passe-partout is het werk uitstekend.
Bij de RKD is deze ets geregistreerd onder nummer CD 77-26 (proefdruk, eerste staat). De ets zit ook in de collectie van het Rijksprentenkabinet (rijksmuseum.nl/collectie/RP-P-2003-751).

Bij aankoop moet het werk bij voorkeur worden opgehaald in Diemen (vlakbij het kantoor van Kunstveiling in Amsterdam Z-O), maar het kan eventueel goed verpakt en aangetekend verzonden worden op kosten van de koper.
