Een prachtig origineel kunstwerk ( "figuren in een wachtruimte", houtskooltekening op papier ) van de Nederlandse kunstenaar Cor Noltee (1903-1967). Met een nieuwe houten lijst, een nieuw zuurvrij passe-partout en anti-reflexglas. Gesigneerd rechts onder. De afmetingen met lijst: 40 cm. x 50 cm. De beeldmaat is: 20 cm. x 32 cm. De conditie van het werk is heel goed. Het kunstwerk is te bezichtigen bij Kunsthandel Martins te Wolvega en wordt geleverd met een echtheidscertificaat.
Biografie:
De in Den Haag geboren impressionist Cor Noltee reisde veel. Hij woonde en werkte in Parijs, Rotterdam en Brugge en vestigde zich in 1937 in Dordrecht. Zijn voorkeur ging uit naar het schilderen van landschappen en stads- en riviergezichten in een robuuste, zelfverzekerde stijl. Om die reden werd hij wel de 'Dordtse Breitner' genoemd. Als leerling van de Academie in Den Haag kreeg hij les van o.a. Willem de Zwart.
