Devorah Boxer didn't always draw and engrave objects and tools. "First there were dramatic, Biblical, woodblock characters," she says. An influence of German Expressionist art that the artist, born in 1935 in Troy, New York, admired and many representatives of which took refuge in the United States expelled by Nazism.
