Diana van Hal volgde haar opleiding aan de Academie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Rotterdam. In de linoleumsneden van Van Hal is haar voorliefde voor de Afrikaanse en Zuid-Amerikaanse cultuur te herkennen aan de vormentaal, de motieven en de kleuren waarmee zij werkt. Diana van Hal exposeert haar werk regelmatig op verschillende plaatsen in Nederland. Haar linoleumsneden zijn vertegenwoordigd in diverse collecties, waaronder de collecties van Provincie Zuid-Holland en KPN Kunstcollectie.
