Harold Kleyn (Amsterdam 1946)
Painter, draftsman, watercolourist, poet and sculptor; Kleyn, who was born in Amsterdam but lives in East Groningen, is a versatile artist.
Nowadays he develops a free, often abstract design based on a naturalistic method in which the figuration serves as support for a more expressionistic way of working, in which movement and especially bright and often bright colors play an important role. People, nature and the landscape are the main themes.
