Prachtige, strakke compositie van de bekende Britse (Schotse) kunstenaar Eduardo Paolozzi, te dateren rond 1974. In de stijl van “Arts-and-Crafts” icoon Charles “Rennie” Mackintosh aan wie hij in dat jaar als hommage ook een serie houtsnedes wijdde.
Aquatint ets op zeer dik geschept papier, met potlood gesigneerd en genummerd (61/70). In zeer goede conditie, blad golft heel licht. Ik heb nergens een titel kunnen vinden voor deze ets, maar het is zeker dat de compositie overeenkomt met een zeefdruk met de titel Leonardo (zie foto 5). Of het een ets naar de zeefdruk is of een zeefdruk naar de ets weet ik niet.
Afmetingen: 65cm x 50cm (blad), 52cm x 36cm (beeld)
Werk moet bij voorkeur worden opgehaald in Diemen of op het Kunstveiling kantoor in Amsterdam Z-O. Als dat echt niet kan, dan kan het werk aangetekend en goed verpakt verstuurd worden op kosten van de koper.
