Schilderijen van Borsje bevinden zich in diverse collecties in binnen- en buitenland. Zijn werk staat de laatste twee jaar sterk in de belangstelling. Tijdens zijn meest recente expositie (in de Banka Gallery in Dordrecht, december 2016) zijn al zijn geexposeerde werken verkocht.

Borsje (1958) heeft ruim 23 jaar in de journalistiek gewerkt (Parool, VPRO, Rotterdams Dagblad, Algemeen Dagblad) en maakte reportages in binnen- en buitenland.
Zijn werkt toont naar eigen zeggen zijn dromen en nachtmerries. De nachtmerries zijn confronterend: 'Shots rang out. I must escape' luidt de titel van een van de nachtmerries. De dromen zijn fel gekleurde grote werken, waar silhouettten zich omzichtig in bewegen.
Werk wordt aangetekend en goed en veilig verpakt verzonden.
