Beautiful color etching by French artist France HILON (born 1942) on sturdy Arches paper. Numbered (16/150) and signed in pencil by the artist. Dimensions: 28 x 20 cm (etching) on 46 x 40 cm (sheet). In perfect condition.
France Hilon developed an early interest in etching during his studies at the Peintres Graveurs in Paris, where he discovered that his unique and highly individual style was well suited to intaglio printing.
The inspiration for his sculptures comes from the landscapes and seascapes of Europe and the Far East, where he travels frequently. He has exhibited throughout Europe and is particularly known for his exhibitions at the prestigious art fairs of Basel and Frankfurt. In 1986, he exhibited at the first art fair in Paris dedicated exclusively to prints: FIEST. In 1986, his etchings were first exhibited at the London Art Fair, where they attracted considerable attention.
