Frans Mars (22 februari 1903 – 26 mei 1973) was een Nederlandse kunstschilder en onderwijzer.
Mars was onderwijzer te Wormerveer en tevens kunstschilder. Na zijn opleiding aan de normaalschool nam hij schilderles bij Willem Jansen die zich als schilder kort daarvoor in de Zaanstreek had gevestigd. Hierna volgde hij in 1923 lessen bij de Vlaamse impressionistische schilder Arthur Verbeeck. Na de Tweede Wereldoorlog sloot Mars zich aan bij de kunstenaarsvereniging Zaenden. In 1946 nam hij tijdelijk ontslag als onderwijzer om zijn beroemde Molenpanorama in de schuur van oliemolen Het Pink te kunnen voltooien. Behalve molens en portretten schilderde hij ook vele taferelen in de Zaandamse houthaven waar hij de sfeer van de activiteiten vastlegde.
Zijn werk wordt onder meer tentoongesteld in het Zaans Museum. Ook in het boek Kunst zonder Rugwind wordt Mars uitvoerig besproken.
