The etching is monogrammed in pencil 'FW': Frits Lindeman (1945) Frits W. Lindeman (Amsterdam, June 4, 1945) Drawing and modeling from his early childhood. He studied at the Minerva Academy in Groningen (with Hans Heeren and Wout Muller, among others), and did masterclasses with Robert de Bakker and Peter Kouthooft (graphic techniques) and Gido Hommes (portrait painting). He works (after years in education) as a designer at the Efteling, restorer in churches, large fairground attractions, and since the late eighties as an independent visual artist in Huijbergen, North Brabant, often commissioned.
