George Tesson:
George Tesson was geïnspireerd door de École de Paris en het kubisme. Zijn post-kubistisch werk doet denken aan dat van Fernand Léger, George Braque en Picasso. Waarschijnlijk gemaakt rond 1940-1950. Het beeldje is gegoten in de gieterij waar ook Alberto Giacometti zijn beelden wel liet gieten nl. Susse Fondeur Paris.
Materiaal: Grijs/blauw gepatineerd brons op natuursten sokkeltje
Hoogte inclusief sokkel: 16 cm
Breedte: ca.8,5 cm
Gesigneerd en genummerd: Tesson 6/8 voorts stempel van de bronsgieterij "Susse Fondeur Paris".
Provenance: Het beeldje is door de vorige eigenaar aangekocht in een galerie in Parijs.
