Beautiful, unique drawing by Gerard Fieret, visual artist, photographer and  poet. There is hardly any oeuvre as idiosyncratic and remarkable as that of Gerard Petrus Fieret (1924-2009). This striking artist obsessively captured everything that crossed his path: people, animals, street scenes and himself – but especially many women: models, students, mothers, dancers and waitresses, or just their body parts, such as breasts, feet or long legs. . Although he photographed daily for only ten years (1965-1975), Gerard Fieret has built up an enormous oeuvre. In the Netherlands he is seen as one of the founders of autonomous photography. In recent years, his work has also received increasing international recognition.
