Hans Heijman Graficus, schilder, etser, beeldhouwer.(Zaltbommel 1951).
Opleiding: Heijman volgde zijn opleiding aan afdeling grafiek van de Academie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Den Bosch.
Het Hollands landschap is altijd de grote inspiratie geweest voor Hans Heijman. Zijn werk was in eerste instantie realistisch, maar ligt nu meer op de grens tussen figuratief en abstract, met veel aandacht voor kleur.

Een monoprint is een druktechniek waarbij slechts één afdruk kan worden gemaakt. De techniek wordt ook wel monotype of monotypie genoemd.Op een plaat wordt met inkt (of verf) een afbeelding gemaakt. Terwijl de inkt nog nat is, wordt deze afgedrukt op het papier. Een tweede afdruk maken is niet mogelijk.
