Beautiful geometric screen print by Hans Klaui, Is in good condition. Printed in an edition ED of 22 copies, this is number 6. Klaui's silkscreens and paintings are characterized by their abstract geometric style. The works illustrate infinite spaces containing floating geometric shapes, mainly cubes. These cubes with often curved contours float in groups through space and seem to be driven by an invisible force. Looking at his work you can imagine that images of space are evoked or comparisons with dreams evoked by music; variations of a color, sliding surfaces together suggesting an infinite depth; looming perspectives with various vanishing points without horizons. Studied at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague from 1965 to 1969. Although he specialized in drawing during his studies, he is mainly known for his serigraphs. In order to further develop his screen printing technique, he took a course in screen printing in 1986 at the Grafische Werkplaats in The Hague.
