Hans Wap is dichter en beeldend kunstenaar. Na zijn studie aan de Rotterdamse academie was hij bekender als dichter dan als kunstenaar. Zo debuteerde hij in 1967 met een gedichtenbundel en in de jaren zeventig verschenen twee bundels kindergedichten. Hierna kreeg hij als beeldend kunstenaar grotere bekendheid. In het begin van de jaren tachtig heeft hij onderstaande zeefdrukken gemaakt. Twee situaties worden verenigd en een absurde, enigszins humoristische samenstelling.
