Fraai werk van Borsje (1958), formaat 60 x 80 cm, rechtsonder gesigneerd.
Borsje (1958) heeft ruim 23 jaar in de journalistiek gewerkt (Parool, VPRO, Rotterdams Dagblad, Algemeen Dagblad) en maakte reportage in binnen- en buitenland. Tijdens zijn journalistieke werk had hij niet altijd tijd om te schilderen, maar sinds 2015 heeft hij de journalistiek vaarwel gezegd en zich volledig op het schilderen gericht. Zijn werkt toont naar eigen zeggen zijn dromen en nachtmerries. De nachtmerries zijn confronterend: 'Shots rang out. I must escape' luidt de titel van een van de nachtmerries. De dromen zijn fel gekleurde grote werken, waar silhouettten zich omzichtig in bewegen.
