- Hein Vandervoort 1962 studeerde in de jaren `80 aan de Koninklijke Academie voor Beeldende Kunsten te Den Haag.
Zijn werken zijn o.a. te vinden in de collecties van Het Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Het Museum voor Religieuze Kunst in Uden. Veel schilderijen zijn verder o.a. te vinden in de collecties van het SBK Amsterdam, Link Art Company Schiphol, De Ahold Kunststichting, Leaseplan Corporation en PricewaterhouseCoopers. Vandervoort schilderde ruim 20 jaar series schilderijen die voortkwamen uit de reizen die hij door de USA maakte.
